About Me

I love therapy. I love providing therapy and I love receiving therapy. It is a time dedicated exclusively to you (or me, if I am the “receiver!”). It is so rare to experience this in these times, yet needed more than ever.

My love of therapy started in middle school before I even knew what therapy was. I was the person people (kids then) would talk to about “stuff.” It would be a long time before it became a career and passion for me, but I knew I found human behavior and relationships absolutely fascinating (still do) and that I was honored to be trusted to hear and hold someone’s difficult story (still am).

There is nothing more gratifying than to help someone feel better emotionally, physically, and spiritually and to watch them transform their lives and relationships forever.

With over 20 years of experience working with clients, I do what I need to do to really understand a client (you), get to the deeper issue(s), and help you “feel better” – however that looks or feels to you.

I am invested in your healing, growth, relationships and well-being on all levels – emotionally, physically, and spiritually. And I am honored to be a part of it. I am passionate about working with anxiety, trauma, and women’s well-being.

Professional Recommendations

“I highly recommend Rachael as a strong, dedicated, and ethical psychotherapist. She invests much of her energy and time making sure that she is connected to professionals in the field and understands the latest research to advance her knowledge and expertise as a therapist. I have found her to be passionate about her clients’ well-being and invested in their growth and positive change. She is a great local resource and I am always happy to send clients her way.”
“Rachael is the consummate professional. This was evident from the time we met during our days at Washington University in St. Louis. Sharp, clever, warm, and caring, she brings value to the environment around her.”
“I highly recommend Rachael as a very competent therapist. I worked with her for many years and always found her to be dedicated to her clients and very knowledgeable. As a psychologist, I have referred Spanish speaking clients to her, as I know that she is skilled in providing therapy in Spanish.”
